Bike Stop Darlington is a non-profit social enterprise that is a hub for cyclists and they specialise in bike recycling and maintenance right in the heart of the town. It also helps people who are homeless or suffering hard times by teaching them how to fix and build bikes which also provides them with a gateway back into employment.
I was approached by Tracy Freeman who is a director of First Stop that created Bike Stop Darlington, She required some images for their up-coming website. We got together one afternoon and worked out the details. We had a plan to shoot various bikes in different locations detailing some of the great work that’s already been done but to also promote the ‘custom bike build’ that the team at Bike Stop undertake.
The following images are a small sample of the photo’s we captured in Darlington, Middlesbrough and Durham. Unfortunately I cannot release the full album links but will provide forward links once the website is up and running.
